3月24日 GRAW 2 Rankings VS. Gears of War RankingsAlright, so lately have gotten many questions on how to gain rank in GRAW 2, and Gears of War. So I figured I would break it down for you.
In GRAW 2, the only way to gain rank is by winning. PERIOD! When in a team game you only gain points toward your rank if your team wins. It does not matter who you killed, or who killed you, or how many kills, just which team won, and which team lost. The only variable is the level breakdown of the teams. If you beat a team that has an player level average that is higher than yours you will get more points toward your rank. If everyone on the opposing team is lower than you, and you win, you will simply gain less points toward your rank. When you lose a game you lose points, and if you lose enough you can eventually rank down. Losing to a team that has an average level lower than yours, means you lose more points. GRAW 2 does an awesome job of arranging the teams in a ranked game, and sorting them fairly to each team based on levels, that way one team does not have all the high ranked players and vice versa. This way you do not lose as many points when losing because the teams player ranks are pretty even. Even if players drop, you still get points based on who won and who lost. One very nice thing about GRAW 2, is that it allows you to see how close you are to leveling up. From the game menu go to Leaderboards, don't pick one though, just look at the bottom of you screen. It will show your current level, and your progress % toward the next level. VERY NICE! No more doubt about how close you are. This makes it much easier to feel that you are still moving toward the next level.
In Gears of war your rank is completely based on your individual performance. No matter if your team wins or loses, you get points for your kills, revives, downs, etc... Every point you get goes directly to your rank. You can lose points by dropping out of ranked matches. But that is about the only way. You rank will still raise and drop whoever. It will go up when you get points, and even though you are not losing points, your rank will go down as other people pass you in points. In this case you didn't lose any points, someone else just has more than you. If you want to pass someone in rank, you simply need to get more overall points then they have. My wife and I are having a blast playing GRAW 2, they reset the ranking last weekend (3/17/07) for a tournament, but so far we have gotten back up to rank 4 this week. Unfortunately since my son was born three months ago my rank in Gears has just plummeted. I went from rank 900, to I have no idea now but it is probably in the 50,000 or so range :( so sad... Anyway, hope this helps some of you. Frag you later... 引用通告此日志的引用通告 URL 是: http://bluephaze.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!364D4F01994932D3!446.trak 引用此项的网络日志
